Perch Fishing on Lake Michigan

scottsmith2007-07-20photoadultchildperchfishingwebresolution.jpgThis photo comes to us from Scott in Chicago, Ill. About his photo, he writes:

“After learning the methods for successful perch fishing on Lake Michigan, I took my 3- and 5-year old daughters to Montrose Harbor in Chicago. I set them up and turned them loose. Within 45 minutes, the two of them caught 10 perch, 5 of them “keepers.” This photo is of my 5-year old daughter Laila with a nice 12″ fish, caught on a 3-foot Barbie combo with 4-lb. test line.”

Some good pointers for you anglers out there. Thanks, Scott, for the photo.
