Mother Nature’s Frozen Art

lieslschultz2007-08-20photoadulticecanoes-webres.jpg This photo comes to us from Liesl of Milwaukee, WI. She writes:

“This past winter featured bitter cold and strong winds. This combination let Mother Nature create amazing ice canoes along the Lake Michigan shoreline, just 15 miles north of Milwaukee. Every day, a different creation was formed, and just as quickly as they were formed, they were gone. The amazing winter ice-scape was thrilling to explore and discover.”
