We're thrilled to be kicking off the Healthy Lakes, Healthy Lives Tour in Buffalo, NY with events starting on Thursday, June 5th. Buffalo lies in the heart of the globally significant Lake Erie and Niagara River, which hold the key to the local economy, ecology, recreational opportunities, and quality of life. Protecting and restoring Buffalo's greatest natural resource is essential to the Queen City's revitalization. In fact, a recent analysis conducted by the Brookings Institution finds that the City of Buffalo will see economic gains of $600 million to $1.1 billion if the Great Lakes are restored!
