Superior Dawn
This photo comes to us from Lyn of Westwood, MA. The photo is called “Superior Dawn” and was taken at 5:58 AM, the 16th of July, 2007. Lyn writes:
“This was taken from my AmericInn balcony overlooking Chequamegon Bay in Ashland, Wisconsin. It was the first morning of a magnificent eight-day Western Lake Superior field trip, culminating a Geoscience Masters degree program with Mississippi State University. Throughout the week we studied- and admired the western Lake Superior geology, from Copper Harbor, Michigan, through the Boundary Waters of Minnesota. Lake Superior provided an serenely beautiful setting for this amazing field experience.”
