White lake is on its way towards delisting after a troubled history, mainly due to waste from Hooker Chemical, but there is still more effort needed to make delisting official. After years of pollution that started with Hooker Chemical Company contaminating the groundwater, people can’t eat the fish or local wildlife, Habitat has been lost and drinking water comes with scary restrictions. Isn’t it time for change? Isn’t it time to improve our local economy and our fresh water bounty at the same time?
