Great Lakes Day 2008 Event Registration
Washington, DC, February 27-28, 2008
Registration / Scholarship applications due February 1st
As part of the annual Great Lakes Day in Washington, D.C., the Healing Our Waters® (HOW) -Great Lakes Coalition helps to bring coalition members and allies from the Great Lakes states to Washington to discuss the importance of restoring and protecting the Great Lakes with elected officials on Capitol Hill.

Please begin booking your travel arrangements asap. You should plan to arrive early the morning of February 27th and depart late afternoon or evening of February 28th. Scholarship recipients will receive up to $225 in travel reimbursements.
HOW Coalition leaders from each of the Great Lakes states will request meetings with elected officials on behalf of Great Lakes Day participants from each state. However, if you have any special needs or relationships that we should be aware of, please contact Pam Goddard (goddardp@nwf.org).

Please note that the Great Lakes Commission is hosting its semiannual meeting in Washington, D.C. Feb. 26-27 and the annual Great Lakes Day Congressional Breakfast on Feb. 28. To register for these events, visit https://www.glc.org/meeting/register1.html. Healing Our Waters members can take advantage of a special fee for the breakfast only.
