Funding Opportunity: Regional Conservation Partnership Program Accepting Applications

The week the U.S. Department of Agriculture announced a request for proposals under the Natural Resources Conservation Service’s Regional Conservation Partnership Program. The RCPP works to protect water quality, increase soil health, and support wildlife habitat through sustainable farming and farm land practices. Up to $260 million is available to work on projects like this, including funding targeted at projects in the Great Lakes region. In 2016 two projects were awarded $11 million in the Great Lakes region, with additional funding from partners contributing more than $16 million.

USDA is now accepting proposals for Fiscal Year 2017 RCPP funding. Pre-proposals are due May 10. For more information on applying, visit the RCPP website.
