Fun At the Beach

Your Lake and You

The Great Lakes are an integral part of our lives. For generations, people have enjoyed fishing for walleye on Lake Erie, swimming in the clear blue waters of Lake Michigan, and camping in the wilderness that surrounds Lake Superior.

The effort to restore the Great Lakes is not simply about water—it is about restoring a resource that million of people depend on for their drinking water, jobs, public health, recreational opportunities, and quality of life.

The Healing Our Waters Coalition understands the connection between the Great Lakes and the millions of people who depend on them, and is working to restore the lakes, because every day we wait, the problems get worse and more costly.
