Land buys expand wildlife reserve along Lake Erie

Great Lakes Restoration Initiative funds were used to add 297 acres of land to the David M. Roderick Wildlife Reserve, located on the Lake Erie shoreline in northern Pennsylvania. Read more here.

After two centuries, a Michigan river runs freely

Removing the Mill Creek Dam in southern Michigan restored an important Lake Erie tributary, unleashed natural rapids and made the river and an adjacent park a  centerpiece in the Village of Dexter. Read more here.
